shaneshane Posted February 26, 2014 Share #1 Posted February 26, 2014 and when we'll see some Xpenology version out, anytime soon, thinking of upgrading from DSM 4.2 to 4.3, if 5.0 is coming I will hold off and wait for DSM 5.0 thanks!
EmmTeh Posted February 26, 2014 Share #2 Posted February 26, 2014 5.0 is currently beta (has been since 1/23/14). There are a couple 5.0 beta version that are out but iSCSI isn't really working well in either. gnoBoot does v5.0 Beta: http://xpenology.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2152 Trantor's v5.0 Beta: http://xpenology.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=2219

It works okay here, at least in that version.. I think he may have broken it in some versions. I have mine setup and used in a Windows 8.1 esxi VM, and WMC uses it for it's record drive. both DSM 5 and WMC are VMs, in the same esxi server.
