Copy between remote/NFS mount and local server

My logic says if I open XPEnology browser and start a copy between a remote/NFS mount point and a local (on XPenology) it should continue even when I close my browser ?

 

I did one last night and it seems to have failed, so redid this morning, will see when I get home,

I do that all the time with NFS and CIFS mounts (between Syno boxes) and it carries on as a background process once you log out. Check the logs to see if there was another issue, possibly with the remote mount server iif its non syno. It might need the authentication 'held open' ie web page active.
