fusiondust Posted February 13, 2014 Share #1 Posted February 13, 2014 I've been booting from IDE without any issues and was wondering if anyone has successfully compiled a Boot drive on a Sata with the synology data installed on sepearate partition or if it is even possible to single drive boot such a setup. I'm planning on configuring a bios level raid 1 (comprised of my previous question) and configure a SHR with matching 3TB drives.
