Akhlan Posted January 14, 2014 Share #1 Posted January 14, 2014 Hello, I currently runs XPEnology DSM 4.3 update 4 and it works perfectly but I'm left more than 300GB on my 8TB (Raid 5). So I bought two 3TB disks but when I plug them, they are well seen in the BIOS, but not in DSM interface, impossible to add in my volume, checkbox remains gray> < How can add my HDD? thank you Akhlan

Trantor Posted January 14, 2014 Share #11 Posted January 14, 2014 Connect all your drives and but with ubuntu livecd to see if all disks are detected. On your screenshot SATA IDE Combined Mode is Enabled. According to the mainboard manual: SATA IDE Combined Mode This item is for SATA3_5, SATA3_6, SATA3_7 and eSATA3 ports. Use this item to enable or disable SATA IDE combined mode. The default value is [Disabled]. If you want to build RAID on SATA3_5, SATA3_6, SATA3_7 and eSATA3 ports, please disable this item Disable this option and retry.
