  1. Hi I just built a NAS server with at ASROCK J3455-itx everything is working perfectly except hibernation. I think i figured out it has something to with the computer trying to read the LED brightness. But it cant and wakes up again. i found this in scemd.log: 2018-06-29T19:37:31+02:00 Grevy-NAS scemd: led/led_brightness.c:244 Fail to read /usr/sbin/i2cget 2018-06-29T19:37:31+02:00 Grevy-NAS scemd: led.c:35 SYNOGetLedBrightness fail() 2018-06-29T19:37:51+02:00 Grevy-NAS scemd: event_disk_hibernation_handler.c:42 The internal disks wake up, hibernate from [Jun 29 19:37:27] 2018-06-29T19:48:16+02:00 Grevy-NAS scemd: led/led_brightness.c:244 Fail to read /usr/sbin/i2cget 2018-06-29T19:48:16+02:00 Grevy-NAS scemd: led.c:35 SYNOGetLedBrightness fail() 2018-06-29T19:48:34+02:00 Grevy-NAS scemd: event_disk_hibernation_handler.c:42 The internal disks wake up, hibernate from [Jun 29 19:48:15] 2018-06-29T19:58:35+02:00 Grevy-NAS scemd: led/led_brightness.c:244 Fail to read /usr/sbin/i2cget 2018-06-29T19:58:35+02:00 Grevy-NAS scemd: led.c:35 SYNOGetLedBrightness fail() 2018-06-29T19:58:55+02:00 Grevy-NAS scemd: event_disk_hibernation_handler.c:42 The internal disks wake up, hibernate from [Jun 29 19:58:35] 2018-06-29T20:09:27+02:00 Grevy-NAS scemd: led/led_brightness.c:244 Fail to read /usr/sbin/i2cget 2018-06-29T20:09:27+02:00 Grevy-NAS scemd: led.c:35 SYNOGetLedBrightness fail() 2018-06-29T20:09:40+02:00 Grevy-NAS scemd: event_disk_hibernation_handler.c:42 The internal disks wake up, hibernate from [Jun 29 20:09:26] As you can see it keeps on waking up right away and go to hibernate 10min after. Can someone tell me how i turn off the brightness reading ? Best Regards RKG90
  2. I have looked at numeroud thread on this issue ans searched separately. I am still none the wiser on if and how I go about allowing the HP Gen 8 microserver to spin down the HDDs and to spin down the disks. I am using the latest DSM 6. Should this be working by default or anything needs amending. Any help from those with it appreciated!
  3. Hello Guys, I have just bought a TerraMaster F2-220 NAS and installed Xpenology v6.1.3 and most features work, but a few are still lacking and I would like to know if they can be solved. 1) A quick press on the power button doesn't turn off the NAS unit (soft shutdown), only if I hold it for a few seconds (hard shutdown). 2) The LAN LED is not lit up and the HDs LEDs are lit red all the time even if the HDs are not plugged in. 3) The hard-drive doesn't seem to hibernate (even though the function is enabled). 4) Case fan doesn't seem to fully shutdown nor speed up in case necessary. Do you guys know if there are ways to solve the issues above? Is there a loader based on the Synology DS218+ (hardware very similar to my TerraMaster F2-220)? Thank you.
