Hi all, I have this setup: - motherboard: ASRock N100DC-ITX (built-in CPU Intel N100) - RAM: Lexar DDR4, 32 GB, 3200MHz, CL22 - NVMe: SSD Lexar NM620 256GB M.2 2280 PCI-E x4 Gen3 - 2 x 3,5inch SATA HDD 2TB - 90 watt psu System DSM is not booting, i think that computer freezing after bootloader is loaded. I have tried both "arpl" and "arc" projects (even the arc-a variant) in the latest versions. I have tried many syno models but the behavior is the same every time. After correctly configuring the bootloader and building it, the bootloader loads and after displaying the IP address to DSM, after a while displaying cmd line, the system hangs. It does not respond to the keyboard, it does not respond to ping at the indicated IP address (with or without a port). While loading the bootloader, it responds to pings. I have been waiting for a long time, even half an hour, but still nothing, the indicated address is not loading. Does anyone have an idea what else can be done or tried? Attached are both screens where the system stops and you cannot connect via IP to dsm.

as we know the maximum intel processor is intel 9 gen. gen 10 some work. what is the maximum AMD processor? can we use the latest AMD processor? I want to try DS923 thank you for answering

Server Dell r510 12bay Server H200 LSI SAS (IT Mode) , Intel x520-da2 Nic Im setting up Redpill with dsm7 model ds3622, my Intel 10gb dualport nic was found and used during the TinyCore setup but is not found with normal boot or synology assistant The system worked without error on jun bootloader with dsm6 I have also tried to manually add this driver but still not found ./rploader.sh ext ds3622xsp-7.1.1-42962 add https://raw.githubusercontent.com/pocopico/rp-ext/master/ixgbe/rpext-index.json I have since swaped the Nic out for an Intel 1gb card and all works, confirming I just need the drivers for the 10gb nic Please advise which drivers to add so I can have the 10gb Intel x520-da2 card working again. Hi, i never tried to install xpenology and my first try is with this mini PC CHUWI Herobox (cpu J4125 and network intel i225). https://store.chuwi.com/products/chuwi-herobox I tried with Juns loaders: v1.04b, v1.03b and even with 1,02b from this post and using "extra.lzma" that has to be compatible with intel i225 (realtek 8111) I get the screen that says "Screen will stop updating shortly, please open find.synology.com to continue" But find.synology.com and synology assistant never finds anything I checked my router and the network card has IP in that moment, but nothing happens. Maybe is something with the motherboard of this little computers? Im totally new on this and probably is not even possible with this hardware as is. Any idea or help is welcome, thnks guys!

Предлагаю делиться опытом совместимости сетевых карт на 10Gb у меня есть такие: - Mellanox ConnectX-2 - в принципе работает отлично, драйвера из коробки завелись, сейчас оставил в двух NAS именно эти - HP NC550SFP - двух портовая, работает, но были странности. В какой то момент NAS просто исчезал из сети, по логам все работало и зависа не было перезагрузка устраняла проблему до следующего пропадания( от пары дней до недели работы). Так и не понял в чем дело. - Intel x520-DA1 - пока не пробовал, но такие карты стоят в PC компах которые соединены в сеть с NASами Одну Intel перешил и теперь она полноценно заводится в MacOS по скоростям между NAS получил почти полные 10Gb такая же картина между NAS и MacOS а вот между Win и NAS - пониже

Господа, подскажите пожалуйста, умеет ли DSM управлять турбобустом на процах Intel? И умеет ли задействовать виртуальные потоки? Спасибо.

This thread is for anyone looking for a working solution for this particular motherboard, an Intel DQ45EK. So I have this old Intell DQ45EK motherboard with 4GB of memory and mini-itx case that have sat unused for some time. This weekend I decided to install XPEnology on it along with 3x3TB drives (It's all I can fit in the case). I was hoping to install 6.2.2. However, when I booted up using Jun's 1.0.3b boot loader, it could not recognize any of the drives. I proceeded to create a Jun 1.0.2b boot disk. That one was able to see the drives. I went ahead and installed DSM_DS3615xs_15284.pat. Everything works great with this configuration. I am still hoping to get 1.0.3b/6.2.2 to run with this board. I tried booting 1.0.3b after configuring with 1.0.2b/6.1.7-15284. DSM did not come up (most likely because the drives are still not recognized). Anyway, if you are able to get DSM 6.2.2 installed, reply to this thread.

Beim Versuch, das Board über einen XPenpology-Stick zu booten, klappt zunächst alles, aber die Netzwerkkarte Intel 219LM wird offenbar nicht erkannt (PC im Netzwerk nicht vorhanden, kein Zugriff, kein Blinken an der Netzwerkbuchse). Woran kann das liegen? Ggf. (auch) daran, dass das "Compatibility Support Module (CSM)" im Bios nicht vorhanden ist - trotzdem "Secure Boot Control" unter Setup –> Security –> Secure Boot Configuration deaktiviert ist? Daher keine Einstellmöglichkeiten für das Compatibility Support Module (CSM) , wonach ein Legacy-Betriebssystem nur gestartet werden kann wenn das CSM geladen wurde.

Hi, I am a student at the University of Cincinnati and am looking to install DSM on one of my home rigs I have: Right now: 2C2T Sandy bridge Celeron (2nd gen intel) Gigabyte MOBO (embedded CPU) 4GB ram Various 1, 2 & 3tb HDDs Vtech 4 port HBA card In the future? (when I upgrade my current gaming rig) 4c8T Xeon E3-1265V3 (I7-4790 equivalent ) on ASUS or Asrock or Gigabyte MOBO 16 to 32gb ram Various 1, 2 & 3tb+ HDDs HBA card Possibly cache SSD Possibly 10GBe if prices are right I would be looking to experiment with hosting a website, and also would like to store video content on this server. I don't know though, what image and loader version to go with. I played around with DSM 6.1 BUT any time I went through the Synology Assistant, It would brick my build. The nas would not get recognized when i boot it back up after using the assistant. So? I am looking for the best Loader and PAT file for my goals. I want a stable system, w/h expansion that I can expand to a bigger CPU and more ram. I want to play with features, but also need to know that my data is as safe as it can be. *I have a DROBO Right now, but it's been giving me headaches so i want a new primary Nas Server* ThX, Josh
