  1. I guess synology updated the main file to the minor update version 6. From Version info: majorversion="7" minorversion="0" major="7" minor="0" micro="1" productversion="7.0.1" buildphase="GM" buildnumber="42218" smallfixnumber="6" Pocopico has to change the checksum in the config.json file
  2. I don't think so. For DSM 6.2.3 you have to use Juns Loader. I didn't even get DSM 6.2.4 (with the new protection) and arpl/tcrpl to work.
  3. maybe you have to make it executable: sudo chmod +x arpl-reboot.sh and than try again: sudo ./arpl-reboot.sh config
  4. @fbelavenutoI couldn't much, but it seems to work like a charm for me now!! 😃 I can format the standalone ssd at port 5 of my HP Gen8 and do not run in a install loop! Great work thanks!!!
  5. you can't add this modules to arpl, they are only for the use of TCRP
  6. yes, you replace the IP with your 192.168.1.212. http://192.168.1.212:5000 or you use the synology assistent software to find your NAS in the netword
  7. that is the IP which is assigned to the booted NAS (DSM). You can call the webpage of the NAS with http://IP:5000
  8. please have a lokk at the arpl issues: Klick
  9. i found this information: Klick The device is supported by kernel versions 4.12 an newer. I don't exactly know which kernel we are using at DSM 7 but pocopicos modules are for 4.4.180. Maybe this is the reason why your card isn't working.
  10. it's included, my intel NIC use the same driver and it works...
  11. I use the same hardware, did the same, started all over with rewriting the arpl.img to the usb stick and deleting the partitions on the ssd disk. Only difference may be that one additional HDD was on port 3. But now I can format the disks and install DSM and do not end up in a boot loop. Maybe the change "eudev" Or what is for?
  12. @fbelavenuto Hi, 0.4a4 is the first version which is working again with HP microserver gen8. 😀👍🤗 I testet with embedded Broadcom NIC only, Intel e1000e NIC only and both active. All combinations are working! The cmdline parameter netif_num is the amount of all network cards or ports? I used 2 and the loader corrected it to four with both dualport nics active. Great work and thanks for your patience! mmkt
  13. bad news, still the same behaviour. After my first try I formatted the disk again and was able to install DSM. But after reboot the System comes up with installable. So I get a install loop and the error with "can't format the disk" is back again. What can I do to help? Another bootlog? Or do we have to cancel the usage of the internal NIC? Thanks for your hard work. 👍
  14. @fbelavenutodid you change in alpha8 something in module handling? Can I test again? I didn't recognize related comments in the changelog
  15. @fbelavenuto I tried the loader 0.3a7 with a baremetal install on HPGen8. Still doesn't work, but I think it could be a different error. Again I can build the loader and find it at synofinder, go to the webpage where I need to install the DSM. Choose the file and afterwards it won't start counting the percentage, I receive an error: Can't formating the disk. The disk was plain before the test, no partitions on it. After my try there are two partitions on the disk (8Gb+2Gb), but they contain no filesystem. I added the complete bootlog from the server, maybe you will find the problem. If I deactivate the Broadcom NIC and use my PCI Intel Nic, the formatting of the disk works fine and I can install DSM hpgen8.log
  16. @vbap Is it correct that the build in NIC is now working with the new modules? I couldn't test it. This would be great news, because older versions of the loader causes kernel panic loading the NIC driver.
  17. Ok, do you have to guess the number? I numbered the MACs but the MACs didn fit to the ones in synofinder. I had to switch the cards. First cards was the PCI card and then the internal broadcom card had to be the MAC3/4
  18. Still the same issue with 0.3alpha4 with the Broadcom network driver. Please have a look to the attached logfile. Thanks putty.log
  19. Thanks for the reply. I need some time to address the difference between Bios Virtual Com port and the vsp virtual port setting in the bios.😊 Now I found the correct setting and changed it to com1. But I made another mistake, I only tested the broadcom module with DSM6.2.4 bromolow. This wont work for me at all. Changed it today to broadwellnk with DS3622xs+ the network card is coming up and I can install DSM properly. Shame on me. Sorry. One last question, if I enable both network cards (Broadcom + Intel PCIexpress) what do I have to setup in the userconfig? Set networkcards to 4. Does the numbering of the MACs matters? For arpl I will do a log and provide it to fabio. Thank for your support!
