Hi, I need help. Im thinking about getting a hp proliant g7 or g8 miniserver (cheap, seems to work good and there are a lot of tutorials) and set it up with xpenology but i decided to try first in a pc i had laying around before i buy it. Everything went fine during installation (i think) but when i go to package center, nothing shows up, and i get a connection error message. I can connect to the diskstation from another pc or mac on same lan, can ping it, can ping from diskstation any host on lan and outside...i tried a lot of stuff but cant get i to work. Already tried to change dns server to 8.8.8.8 as this seems to have worked for some people with similar problems. Any ideas? PS. - I port-forwarded ports 5000-5006 and 22 on router, is there any service running on another port related to package center that i also need to forward? thanks in advance.
