  1. Thanks for the report. I will give it another go. My problem was that when i booted from the USB drive it just didnt show a network connection. Where as on my current connfiguration it worked first time out with vmware installed. I really dont need a hypervisor installed for my purpose so would prefer to remove that layer. Anyhow thanks for the update will take a look and report back. UPDATE: I tried installing again and it worked just fine thanks for the advice Hyperbit, however it used the setup from my vmware information, i tried booting from the USB drive without my harddrives attached and it again wouldnt find my network.
  2. Hello lolvince, thanks for the reply. Are you saying you tested the TP-LINK model TG-3468 and it worked or are you assuming because it is on the compatibility list it will work? I guess i would be happy to grab a new network card and use that but i was kinda hoping there was some way to get the onboard one working with some trick or hopefully getting the drivers included back into the official build.
  3. Hello. Just recently found this great site and OS. Im having an issue and i have tried reading threw this thread but the references to everything is either about files that no longer exist or versions that are outdated. Does anyone know how i can get XPEnology version XPEnoboot 5.1-5055.1 DS3615xs or version XPEnoboot 5.2-5565.1 DS3615xs to show my network card on my n40l. Here is what i have done. I wrote the img file using win32diskimager.exe to a USB drive and i put it in the usb inside the case and go to the install / update option. Is there something i have to do other then just this step. I can get it to install using exsi 6 because i select a different network card to virtualise. Any help or steps i need to do would be appreciated.
