Officiellement, la dernière version d'ESX pour ce modèle de serveur est la 6.5 mais elle aussi est très ancienne et nécessite toujours le client vsphere ce qui n'est pas très pratique a moins d'installer le client web qui est pré-installer dans les version plus récentes d'ESXPeux tu donner plus de détails sur les disques installés ?
Option 1: mise à jour ESX en 6.5 puis mise à jour DSM
- client vsphere
- version ESX obsolète
- le DS3615xs n'est pas compatible DSM 7.2 et les sources des premières étapes pour passer en 7.1 ne sont plus fournis par Synology
Option2: mise à jour ESX en 7.0 (aléatoire) puis création d'une nouvelle vm avec un modèle synology plus récent et les disques existants
+ version ESX à jour
+ version DSM à jour
Option3: installation physique DS3622xs+ en DSM 7.2

Peux tu préciser le modèle de ProLiant pour déjà mettre a jour la partie ESX et le loader que tu utilise ?
Depuis peux, les fichiers pat antérieur aux version DSM 6 ne sont plus disponible sur le site officiel,
1. Mise à jour ESX 6.5/6.7/7.0 (en fonction du modèle) avec l'iso
2. Création d'un nouvelle VM DS3622xs+ en DSM 7.2 avec un des dernier loader (ARPL ou ARC) et un petit disque virtuelle
Un fois que tout fonctionne tu pourra rajouter les 2 disques virtuelle existant
Ps : petite correction du titre DSM et non DSS

2. build a new loader (model, dsm ...)3. boot thez new loader
4. use find.synology.com to scan your network
5. connect to new NAS and choose recover option 2 (conserve data only) to set the new admin password

if the admin account is disabled, you can generate another config (new serial number) and at the reboot, find.synology.com to find your NAS and it would you propose to migrate with 2 options
1. conserve configuration and data
2. conserve data only
choose option 2 and at reboot you will invited to define admin password -
it is the same that RedPill Loader, write a usb key with ARC image and use it to boot > select configure loader
In the menu "DSM Options", you would see an Reset DSM Password option

First of all, many thanks to dev fors redpill loader and tinycore tools.
I build a DS3622xs+ setup based on a Asus Maximus VII Hero (Z97 chipset)/i7 4790K/16GB whith TinyCore v0.4.6. The installation was successful and i created a Storage Group SHR with 4*6TB+3*4TB.On my previeus build on DSM6.2, the Seagate IronWolf 4TB drive was recognized with specific icon and not on DSM7, is it nomal ?
Morover, on the new system, the health drive information windows is empty

Dans mon ancienne installation j'avais 1 disque dur.
La je suis passé à 2 disques ( l'ancien plus un tout neuf) comment puis-je transférer l'ensemble de mon hdd1 sur le hdd 2, fichiers système compris???afin de virer le hdd 1
désolé si c est pas très clair...
Est ce que ces 2 disques sont en Raid ?

Va-t-on avoir des NAS Synology avec un processeur Ryzen d'AMD, permettant par exemple de profiter d'un grand nombre de cœurs/threads pour de la virtualisation par exemple ? « C'est en cours » nous affirme la marque, toujours aussi avare en détails. Après l'intégration d'un GPU NVIDIA, Synology pourrait donc également intégrer des CPU d'AMD.
Autre changement attendu depuis plusieurs années maintenant : la possibilité d'acquérir une licence DSM virtualisée, sans avoir de NAS du fabricant, afin de l'utiliser sur une autre machine ou un cloud privé par exemple. Une solution qui est très demandée et qui n'est plus forcément rejetée en bloc par Synology.
Par contre, le fabricant veut éviter les marques blanches et une mauvaise expérience pour l'utilisateur, par exemple si le DSM s'exécute sur une machine trop limitée. Le constructeur veut absolument éviter « d'écorner » l'image de marque de son interface avec une mauvaise expérience utilisateur du fait de pratiques de tiers.
Le tout pourrait donc être assez limité, au moins dans un premier temps. On rappellera que des alternatives existent déjà avec la possibilité de louer un NAS Synology, notamment chez Infomaniak par exemple (RS217, RS519 ou RS818+).

Will we have Synology NAS with an AMD Ryzen processor, allowing for example to take advantage of a large number of core/threads for virtualization for example? "It's in progress" says the brand, still as stingy in detail as ever. After the integration of an NVIDIA GPU, Synology could also integrate AMD CPUs.
Another change that has been expected for several years now is the possibility of acquiring a virtualized DSM license, without having a manufacturer's NAS, in order to use it on another machine or a private cloud for example. A solution that is in great demand and that is no longer necessarily rejected en bloc by Synology.
On the other hand, the manufacturer wants to avoid white marks and a bad experience for the user, for example if the DSM runs on a machine that is too limited. The manufacturer absolutely wants to avoid "damaging" the brand image of its interface with a bad user experience due to third party practices.
The whole thing could therefore be quite limited, at least at first. It should be recalled that alternatives already exist with the possibility of renting a Synology NAS, notably from Infomaniak for example (RS217, RS519 or RS818+).

As tu testé le disque sur un autre port sata ?

Les disques contiennent toujours la partition system en 6.1, la partition swap et la partition avec tes données donc si tu a un backup de tes données, tu peux les effacer pour faire une install 6.2 de zéro

root access needs additionally jumping through hoops... wish the VERSION on the boot image was not set higher than 6.1.7

J'avais essayé la même manipulation pour mes 7 disques mais apparemment sur Proxmox, le contrôleur SATA est limité a 6 disques maximum et je n'ai pas trouvé comment en ajouté un second.
