  1. I currently have 5 3TB WD Red Drives and have the space for 3 more drives and I'm using the Synology Hybird RAID. Then the time comes and I need to add the additional 3 drives (which would also be 3TB), can I just expand the volume by adding the hard drives?
  2. I'm looking for information on if it's possible to add more storage to my xpenology system. If it is possible, is it complicated? Thanks Kevin
  3. I'm up and running thanks guys!!!!
  4. Is there a guide on how to do this or is it just a reboot, select upgrade and then manual.. etc? Thanks, Kevin
  5. I see where I can download DS3615xs 5.2-5565.1 but can't find just DS3615xs 5.2-5565 (without the .1 update) since I'm coming from 5.1, do I just jump to 5.2 update 1? Thanks Kevin
  6. I'm currently using a i3-4130 3.4 Ghz Dual-Core with 3075 MB memory computer for my NAS, but I also have a i7-4770 3.4Ghz quad-core with 16GB of memory computer I could use. Would using the i7 computer give me a noticeable difference? I use the Media Server and stream movies. Thanks, Kevin
  7. I think I had the admin account disabled and I'm using the password for my admin username, but not working. Is there something else I can do?
  8. Ok, so I update to 5.2 and no matter what I do I can't get rid of 5.2. I'm ok if I have to lose the data on my drives. On the Web GUI, under the Install button, is says, "We've detected that the hard drives of your current DS3615xs had been moved from a previous DS3615xs, and installing a newer DSM is required before continuing." then a Device Info link, which opens a small window with some info.. including: Status: Update Required Firmware: 5.1.5022 DSM: 5.2.5565 I've tried to unplug some of my drives, change the order of how they were plugged in, but nothing seems to work. I boot from a ssd drive and have pulled that and put a fresh copy of the img on it, but again nothing seems to work. Anyone got any ideals? Thanks, Kevin
