  1. Hi. Is it possible to use orig. Camera licences on XPENOLOGY with latest ver. on Synology 6.1.7 or. 6.2 ??? Or will Synology block this keys ??? I could get ser.nr & mac from a friend, but two ser.nr. and mac adress at the same time, there will probably synology make a blockade ??? TNX again. Regards, interested.

Working - bios (change to UEFI) - did use junuefibios.zip image from page 10 & have burned the loader's image on a USB key - edit grub.cfg with Ubuntu live ( SataPortMap=6, vid=xxxxx, pid=xxxxxx, sn=xxxxxxxxxxxx, mac1=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx) - exchange ramdisk.lzma - migrate to DSM 6.0.2-8451 & then updated to latest update 2
  6. Nemesis122 Good question, after reading 33 pages, I'm still not sure what is needed ... I did try it, but computer reboots and returns always in BIOS. Can anyone write manuals in a few steps the correct procedure, for baremetall ??? Please. TNX again.
  7. if you use the latest working xpenology DSM 5.2-5644 Update 8 (bromolow), you can download : - http://download.synology.com/download/s ... 1-4146.spk use patch tool 0.4.2 ver. (from Gaendalf): - viewtopic.php?f=13&t=3035&start=370 install patched file (Package settings > General > Trust Level > change to ANY PUBLISHER) U will get licences .... um sonst. mfg, Interested.

POWER & UPS are working on DSM 5.2-5644.5 To downgrade the version, you have to change this file: - etc.defaults/VERSION (i use winscp over 22 PORT) - put this lines in to it majorversion="5" minorversion="0" buildphase="hotfix" buildnumber="4482" smallfixnumber="0" builddate="2014/04/18" - save it & exit - go to DSM & reinstall the latest ver. with 5.2-5644.5

Does anybody have working openremote with Aeon USB Z-Stick-S2 on Xpenology ??? outthere are many manuals, but not for dummis I managage to install java + openremote on my DS213+ ( and also on intel based Xpenology). Need further instruction (how to check if USB is running, on wich port, ... ). Anybody ??? TNX.

  21. I made the following: - reinstalled DSM - Istalled new WIN8 And still not see "the Name" SYNOLOGY1 in my network. But I can always access to SYNOLOGY1 via IP address "192.168.1.5" I noticed also that if I rename the NAS to another name like SYNOLOGY3 it appears immediately in the network, but after reboot it disappears again. Anybody ???
