  1. Thanks for pointing, missed that thread entirely. Works like a charm - step by step guide here -> http://xpenology.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=9351 Cheers, Ole
  2. Latest DSM with available bromolow source is 5565 but I can't figure out the included kernel version. Downloading right now and going to give it a try... Cheers, Ole
  3. I'd like to but unfortunately theres no NAS GPL Source available for bromolow architecture. https://sourceforge.net/projects/dsgpl/ ... 644branch/ Cheers, Ole
  4. Maybe it's possible to add the following dvb drivers in future releases? http://support.digital-devices.eu/knowl ... rticle=152 Cheers, Ole

    Case Ideas

I always rely on this case. http://www.fractal-design.com/home/product/cases/node-series/node-804 Several slots for HDD expansion (up to 10, even more with home made modifications) and a good cooling solution. Cheers, Ole
  6. - ssh into your xpeno-box an edit syslinux.cfg on your boot stick (xpenology), ususally in /volumeUSB1/usbshare - append mac1=aa:bb:cc:dd:ee:ff (replace aa:bb... with your actual mac) to all lines starting with 'APPEND' - reboot - start up dsm assistant, right click your xpeno-box an choose wol - no need to flash the nic (at least for me) Cheers, Ole
  7. Hi heavytone, das ist ein bekanntes Problem und anscheinend bereits in Arbeit: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=5026&p=41484#p41464 Cheers, Ole
  8. I'm sorry, but this is just your humble opinion. Since when have you been forced using xpenoboot? If you are so dependant on running these databases, go ahead and buy a real Syno. Last but not least, please stop yelling and have a nice day. Cheers, Ole
  9. Yup, with update 2 my iSCSI targets are online again. Yay! Thanks you for a job well done. @fafner: didn't you notice the enable button under storage manager -> iSCSI target? Cheers, Ole
  10. Hi all, are there any news on this topic yet? Cheers, Ole
  11. Moin, hast du schon den trust level im packet manager auf 'any publisher' gestellt? Ansonsten kann man auch debian-chroot installieren und dann dort selbst bauen. Cheers, Ole
