Can this be done from a different computer? My server is headless and is a bit difficult to get a monitor attached. But it's easy to power down the server and boot a laptop to get these postupdates run?

I use a 10th gen i7 8c/16t, I'd like to keep all my cpu threads 😀

Since 3622 doesn't have quicksync capabilities, can one run DVA3221 with a 1650 as a general nas and have plex hardware decoding? I don't need the surveillance features.

Are you able to update the acpid driver for support of 3622xs? Currently vms will not shutdown via the vmm or when you reboot or shutdown the box. -
Does the bios contain anything like an x2APIC setting? I've found that it being enabled on my T330 will mess things up since the Kernel is older and probably lacks these additional ACPI configure capabilities.

That works after install, but Synology connects to update servers during the install process and downloads updates. 918+ and 3615+ may work ok, but 3617+ is not upgradeable yet to u2 without borking the installation. -

Synology is sending out updates during the install process. If you are having issues installing fine and then the first reboot it wants to migrate, you need to cut your internet or block synology's servers. Ran into this issue last night working on a DS3617 box -

Has anyone been able to get an X550-T2 (or any other 10gbe card) to link at 2.5gbe speeds with a DS918 build? 3617 it'll do fine but on 918 I'm only given 100,1000,10000 speeds. -
This is probably the same issue I am having with the whole "reinstall loop" with TC D3617 builds I can get TTGs build working with my own acpid repo which is fine, but it craps out when trying to update to u2. TC and TTG 918+ builds do not present with this issue and they update fine. Another issue I am seeing as others with TC is the satamap's are all over the place. A base intall of DS3617 puts disk 1 as #11. TTG doesn't do this.

That board has UEFI only boot capabilities. I will tell you I've been able to boot that board fine with the older TTG 7.0.1 boot images I have built. I have not tried with the tinycore stuff yet

Is this working properly for 10th gen? I recall trying to get it working on 6.2.3 for my i3-10100 but no dice. I ended up building a 7th gen setup to use which works fine on 7.0.1.
