Problem solved. Used the UEFI Image. Switched to the other image. Now it works. Thank you!

Hi Guys. After a long time away from xpenology i tried to install DSM7.2 on my Baremetal HP Microserver Gen8. Everything works fine until reboot after the build. Error: symbol 'grub_disk_native_sectors' not found Entering Rescue Mode. I tried serveral times. everytime i get in the same error. Any hint / help is appreciated. Thank you Regards Volker

Ich würde gerne von einer 415+ auf einen Gen8 Microserver switchen. Würde das mit mit xpenology funktionieren? Kann ich die Platten aus der NAS 1zu1 übernehmen? Hat das schonmal jemand gemacht? Wenn ja, gibts nen Howto? Danke Grüße Volker

Hi, today my NAS won't start anymore. It boots but stops before there is a network connection. Is there a console or something so that i can where it stucks? I use Junes Bootloader 1.04b für the 918+ Thanks in advance Serpens.

Hi. Works like a charm. Except the VMM. I installed a VM with minor RAM. 6,5 Gbyte RAM free. It does not start. Then I wanted to remove the VM. Does not work. Cluster Remove said there are VMs to delete... Any suggestions? Regards Serpens

Hi there, i use a HP Gen8 Server with the onboard SATA Controller. I setup a RAID5 array with three disks. The performance is very slow. Only max 30 Mbyte / sec read/write. Are there any known issues? Regards

Ich habe hier einen HP Gen8 Server seit einem Jahr im Einsatz. Keine Probleme. Kann ich nur empfehlen. Leistung ist ausreichend für den Heimgebrauch.

Hi, I try to migrate DSM6 on my Gen8 Celeron. But i can't get the .pat File installed (it says, its corrupted). I edited the PID / VID according to my stick. What serialnumber do i have to put in? And what Macs? The originals from the Gen8? I am a bit confused. Sorry. Regards Serpens

I would like to upgrade my Gen8 Microserver from 5.2 to 6. Is it possible with the bootloader? Is there a HowTo around? Or is it only for the VMs? Regards Serpens

Hi! I just upgrade to 5.2-5565. So far, so good. The Update 2 was installed automatically by Synology. But my iSCSI Targets are still offline. Maybe someone can help me? Regards Serpens P.S.: Sorry for my bad english.
