    New installation to Q1900M, extra v0.10 + rd.gz and zimage Dsm 6.2.3.
    Slow boot, but everything works, H/W Transcoding works very well.

    I have Adaptador USB – UART TTL, unfortunately connecting it to com1 with tx rx and gnd I have an incomprehensible video result, with putty.

    cpu is to old for 918+ needs 4th gen, your cpu is 3rd gen, is documented here:

    Sorry, i hadn't noticed this.
    Among my various experiments, if I remember correctly, on the j1900 that I currently use with ds3617, I had put the ds918 +, assuming that it also worked on the i3.
    I'm trying to make a nas with hw transcoding, do you have any advice, without spending too much?

    With the jun1.04b and extra 0.8 (all 3) I tried to put the ds918 + on the asus p8b75-m lx plus and i3 3225, but there was no way to start it. On the same configuration but with jun1.03b and extra 0.5 the ds3617 + has started correctly.
    Unfortunately I don't have the serial to see what's wrong, even if I think it's a LAN problem, he didn't find it on the net.
    Have some suggestions?

    Per sfruttare al meglio l’hw che ho cosa mi consigliate?

    La mb monta un J1900 con 8 giga di ram, per ora ho 2 hd provvisori giusto per capire il funzionamento e le potenzialità.

    Monto il dsm 6.2.2-24922-4 loader 1.03b mod. 0.5 ig-88 ma non ho la transcodifica hw.

    Sbaglio qualcosa o proprio non la posso attivare?

    Passando al ds918+ potrei attivarla?

    Da quello che ho capito col ds918+, rimarrei al dsm 6.2.1, versioni superiori potrebbero compromettere il funzionamento della lan.
