So in DSM 6.1 you can now run disk becnhmarks in the Storage Manager application, however this is only enabled on specific models. Does anyone know if there is some config file to change to enable this feature?

For those of us who don't feel like reading 30 pages, can someone summarize where we are with DSM 6? Bare metal specifically?

So with DSM virtualization would we be able to, say, run DSM 7.0 on a 6.0 machine without the wait?

The source has never been released same time as DSM, this is nothing out of the ordinary.

I'd imagine the source will follow shortly after... Not sure how much the devs can do with just the tool chains

Does anyone know if a driver exists for the Marvell 9128 SATA controller?

Just got a Q1900-ITX, is it possible to have it restart automatically after power failure? Couldn't find it in the BIOS.

I recently got a PCI SATA card with an ASMEDIA 1062 chip. It's recognized by linux: 01:00.0 SATA controller: ASMedia Technology Inc. ASM1062 Serial ATA Controller (rev 02) but xpenology does not see the hard drive attached to it. Does anyone have experience with this card?

Only way I know is to get the lm-sensors packages in debian chroot (probably on a bootstrapped DSM too). This way you could temps via the command line. If we wanted to have the correct temps in DSM I think the developers would have to put in a lot of effort, probably not gonna happen.

Wouldn't they be able to create a bootloader using the DSM6 beta 2 files?

Strange, with L2TP my iPhone says the server is not responding. Edit: In case anyone has the same problem, I had to reinstall DSM to get it to work.
