I had a Kangaroo PC lying around so tried to install DSM 6.1 on it. It has a Intel Atom x5 Z8500 Cherry Trail processor. I tried both the DSM 916 and DSM 3617 and i cannot find the server in the Synology Find or Assistant. I am able to boot using USB in the Kangaroo PC and it asks to find the synology, but no such luck. Would appreciate the help.

So i am running Xpenology DSM 5.0-4418. As far as i have read, Transmission or no other Torrent client on Xpenology supports proxy. Is there way i can use proxy (sock5/http) for torrents on my Xpenology box. I can setup VPN for the whole machine, but i am concerned if the VPN gets disconnected and then my IP is exposed. Also a VPN would slow down my LAN access to Xpenology. Other concern is privacy of data if connected to a VPN. Would appreciate some advise. I am no pro at this, so maybe i am mis-understanding somethings. Also on a side note, how do i upgrade the Xpenology to the latest version available.
