Naja, kann halt sein das du automatische Updates aktiviert hast und dein DSM sich daher irgendwann automatisch aktualisiert hat. Wenn du das Downgrade gemacht hast, dann schaue mal in den Systemeinstellungen nach was du da bei den Updates eingestellt hast.

Vermutlich hast du ein Update auf DSM 5.2 oder DSM 5.1-5055 gemacht oder automatisch erhalten. Ich würde erstmal über putty prüfen welche Version du hast. Die Version steht in der Datei /etc.defaults/VERSION DiskStation> more /etc.defaults/VERSION majorversion="5" minorversion="1" buildphase="hotfix" buildnumber="5022" smallfixnumber=5 builddate=2015/04/22 buildtime="14:15:27" Das ist meine. Hast du die entsprechenden Einstellungen im Bios vorgenommen?

Wenn du "nur wichtige Updates" anhakst, dann sollte auch nur die 5.1 Update 5 angeboten werden. Die kannst du dann ganz normal einspielen.

Die Frage ist eher wofür du die brauchst? Das Update kann doch ganz einfach über die entsprechende Funktion eingespielt werden. Die pat Datei kann dabei direkt runtergeladen werden.

Hmm, probiere mal folgendes: Systemsteuerung -> Aktualisieren & Wiederherst. -> Update-Einstellungen -> den Haken bei "Automatisch nach DSM Updates suchen" rausnehmen. Jetzt sollte er eigentlich nur noch suchen wenn du den Punkt Aktualisieren & Wiederherst. aufmachst.

You always need the usb-stick. The usb-stick contains the boot image. No USB-STick -> no boot.

Hallo bfranz, der Intel® Celeron M 353 scheint ein reiner 32Bit Prozessor zu sein, daher müsstest du die Variante für 32Bit nehmen. XPEnoboot gibt es aber glaube ich nur für 64bit, daher müsstest du zum Vorgänger greifen und könntest dann auch nur DSM 5.0 betreiben. Desweiteren basiert die 32bit Version auf einem Synology System welches nur 2 Steckplätze für Festplatten hat. Ich weiß daher nicht ob du mehr als 2 Platten daran betreiben könntest. Hmm, maybe the stick is damaged. Have you tried another stick? Is it a USB3 or USB2 stick? I think USB3 is not fully supported under XPEnoboot.

No config files are saved on the stick. So you can flash the new one and plug it in.

This is not possible. XPenology always installs on all hard drives.
