    is there some one who update VM (ESXi 6.0) DSM6 to DSM 6.1 with the news bootloader ?

     

    how did you do ? (juste replace the old boot vmdk with the new one ?)

    I could upgrade an ESXI to 6.1 with no problem (download from Synology site).

    The underlying server is a Dell T130 (low end config).

    I never use XPEnology on a barebone computer...

     

     

    Failed on VMware Workstation 12.0.1

     

    After the 6.1 upgrade, the Web console say the harddisk is moved to DS3615xs and ask me to recover (loop)

    Both upgrade and new install failed in the same way

     

    I'm on an R710 with passthrough H200 running under ESXi 6.5, and i have the exact same issue.

    can we have more than 12 disk with this version.

     

    each time i modify synoinfo the xpenology never restart. (i do a good modification that i see on forum but....)

    i was able to get 20 drives (all scsi with 2 controller in my vm) but now i see the 50 mo (in sata) one in the panel of disk when i want to create some raid group.

     

    any help ?

    I found a solution, i change sata drive to ide drive, now i can see 24 drives in dsm the 25th is the ide one and it is not on the list :smile:

    ben grosso modo , désolé d’être direct, si tu n'as pas de sauvegarde tu l'as dans le C*L !

    ou sinon faut payer la rançon demandé....

     

     

    en gros t'es bon a formater et tout réinstaller depuis la base. (et restaure ce que tu peux restaurer d'un ancien backup si t'as...)
