I had no issue with 1.03b except HDD spindown, using TCRP mshell HDD doesn't spindown on 7.1.1 but not sure if that's 7.1.1 issue, however my TCRP with 7.1.1 I have no SAN Manager just stops and asks me to repair however doesn't work. But sure why either.

Hello, With AME can I just use a original mac/sn as have an old DS215J in the loft. Would that allow to to use DS CAM etc ? If I modify the loader with them mac and sn should work right ?

I will double checked my BIOS thanks, I noticed you're synology shows your correct cpu, my cpu name is random, would this be a call for concern?

Ok thank you everyone will look to replace CPU this weekend. Orphee what loader are you using I'm just new to all this and testing different loaders. Thanks Would there be any better off running in VM for better CPU score ? Just a thought

This is my bench seems poor considering other results nemesis has. 358 Single-Core Score 1240 Multi-Core Score With the script that nemesis mentioned. It seems to only use around 15.45% of the CPU. 517MB of RAM is this normal? Using loader ARPL 1.03b Would running in a VM be better?

Ignore last post, got it working now! However just need to get the drives to spindown when not in use, the idle set to 10 mins but hasn't spun down , any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks again .

Sorry for all the noob questions I have DSM running however its only showing drive 5 the drives are set to AHCI in bios thanks for some reason its not detecting them in bios however can see the ssd or the 3gb (optical sata port)

Thanks, just reading about fan noise etc and data speeds half in a vm , not sure if that still exists. No I have a dedicated gpu aswell. Thanks Just to add its E3 1220 v2 cpu

Hello community just after abit of information regarding a baremetal install or esxi on my gen 8 pros and cons really. I understand from reading an old post that running in esxi doesn't spin the drives down etc. Just want your help on this please.
