I have DSM 5.0 OS installed and: - NETGEAR WNDR4500 - Cisco SG100D-08 Unmanaged Gigabit Switch - WD TV Live Media player - KDLinks a200 Medi player Having trouble with files buffering it's almost as if my network is bottle-necking someplace. I can play simple video files but when I play some large files of file with high format (DTS-HD-MA or TrueHD) it buffers on either media player. Does anyone have any suggestions are welcome please

yes I just found that out from another forum but it's not playing in DTS which is odd as my media players native video player plays in full dts and trueHD however the front end for the player really sucks so I want to use Plex. There's something called making a profile for devices to play transcodes but it's over my head

Just replaced my OS/Distro from Ubuntu to DMS 5.0 and my existing sata drives, which has over 10 tb of data are not showing as realy. The are not initialized account to the volume option. And every option I try to get them Initialized requires a format of the drives. Is there not a way to do this without erasing my data. Is there I package I can install that can help. Thx in advance Rob
