I have no problem about the Lan traffic DSM 5.2-5967 update 2 Under Virtual Box 5.0.26

I've installed the latest Nanoboot (4493) - 5.0.3.1 into the VirtualBox (4.3.12 r93733) which is running in WHS 2011 (As well as previous version DSM virtual machine Xpenology & Gnoboot), and updated to version 2. Nanoboot startup is the quickest but the performance is the worst. I'm copying 200G of data from WHS harddisk to Nanoboot drive, I noticed that the transfer rate is about 1MB/s. The copy file is still in progress after 6 hours. The VirtualBox config is as same as Gnoboot. If anyone have the slow transfer rate problem in VirtualBox too?

Hi marc_al I downloaded the zip file above, But I failed to make it work with either my windows 8 Hyper-V or windows 2008 R2 hyper-V. I just attached your VHD file as first HD of my virtual machine, also added a legacy network adapter with your mac address. I can start VM, it gave me a console window and stopped at line "DiskStation login:", but I cannot input anything with my keyboard to login..., no keyboard driver? You should run Synology Assistant in your PC (You can download it from Synology) to connect DSM and install the firmware (PAT file) via your internet browser.

The DSM file transfer speed is pretty slow in Virtual box and the DOWNLOAD STATION needs heavy CPU power when the download speed more than 5MB/s (This happens to my G2020, it takes 100% loading when reach 9-10MB/s) I have tried to run DSM 4.2 in Esxi 5.1 & Win Server 2012 - Hyper-V. Esxi - File transfer speed improves a lot 50-60MB/s but the DOWNLOAD STATION also takes heavy CPU resource. Hyper-V - I cannot see any improvement about the file transfer speed, and DOWNLOAD STATION eats heavy power too.
