  1. Thanks! I was getting a different error message from another client last night (Account is deactivated....) but that seems to have gone away overnight. I managed to get back in via the other device and unblock the IP of my main PC. I'm back in again and reviewing all my admin setups! Thanks so much!
  2. Hello.... long time user here, but new member. First post. I'm embarrassed to say that I have locked myself out of my NAS. Here's the details. HP Microserver N40L, bare metal install using TCRP. (Thanks to @flyride for the EXCELLENT tutorial on upgrading.) Built the RP loader as a DS3622xs+, platform broadwellnk-7.1.0-42661. Everything seemed to go pretty well until... After the upgrade completes and I am presented with a login page, I attempted to log in. I unknowingly had my PC keyboard in a different language layout, so I mistyped my password - repeatedly. Now my usual login ID (which has admin rights) gives me a message that is has been deactivated. The default "admin" account has also been deactivated (because I did so in the old DSM 6.x as a security precaution 🤦‍♂️. Similarly, SSH/Telnet are disabled, because surely I'm not going to mistype my password into the web interface THAT many times! 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ I do not think I have any additional accounts with admin rights. I am able to successfully log in with other accounts, but they have very limited access. So at least I can confirm that basic services are working and my user accounts are intact. I have attempted to re-run the TCRP build process onto a different USB stick, but booting to that appears to recognize that DSM 7.1.0-42661 is already there, so there's no "pre-upgrade" state where I might be able to access via SSH. I'm hoping someone can give me some guidance on how to either reactivate my usual login ID (or the default "admin" ID) or create a new account with admin privileges, or some other method of regaining admin access to my NAS. Thanks in advance for your help and suggestions.
