Do we think 7.1.1 is the cause instead?

I also have the same issues that @Drones and @Loredan have. I previously posted lspci -nnk (See below). Seems to be an issue with drivers. I previously used TCRP and they must have the proper drivers as it worked flawlessly. Let me know if there's a way to manually add or any testing you want me to do.

You have the old version - V2 will not activate without Synology account. Hopefully there is a work around at some point. Synology Photos won't process HEIC/HEIV.
