Hi, today i have rebooted my nas and i have lost all the torrents i'm seeding, i'm using transmission and qbittorrent by docker. This is the error showing of transmission: "Error: No data found! Ensure your drives are connected or use "Set Location". To re-download, remove the torrent and re-add it." I have tried to write manually the real location after rename and move the torrents but nothing occurs. The download folder is /docker/transmission/downloads/complete but i use flexget to rename and move the torrents into a new folders in /volume1/multimedia/movies or tv shows but there is no problem to continue seeding until the nas reboot.

This should work on J5040 processor? i know is a 9th gen but i need this modules... But i don't know how to add it, im running a dsm 7.1-42661 ds 920+

Buenas, por toquetear más de la cuenta sin tener mucha idea he cambiado varios archivos relacionados con la transcodificacion por hw y ahora no puedo volver atrás. Mi pregunta es si vuelvo a reinstalar el DSM desde cero perderé todos mis archivos del disco duro. Tengo montado un dsm 7.1 en un asrock j5040 iniciado mediante usb y un hd de 4tb sin ninguna partición para archivos multimedia. Lo que me preocupa es perder todo lo que tengo en el hd de 4tb.

I have installed the package from synocomunity but now i can't use hw acceleration because i receive this message: "This content is not compatible with this device and cannot be played: It cannot be obtained from the server in a compatible format". I think the only solution is do the usb installation to restore the damaged installation and pray for not need to reinstall all the dsm...

Do you mean an installation of the version of dsm that I use on my nas as if it were an installation from 0 and then once inside the nas copy the necessary filesfrom the usb to my dsm via ssh? If so, is there a post to use as a guide?

Yes, i have installed and configured but i think something is wrong with HW transcodding because i cant play 4k content via web or chromecast. Without transcodding no problem but the cpu runs at +90% obviously and the video keeps stuttering all the time.... And what's the best settings for use HW transcodding with my processor? I have tried Intel Quick Sync and VAAPI and I have the same results.

Hi, i just assembled a nas with that specs: Asrock J5040 2x8gb ddr4 an 4tb hdd on 918+ and DSM 7.1.0-42661 And i want to install the i915 drivers for HW transcoding but im totally noob and im looking for a step by step guide to do that, someone can give me a hand? 😅 Sorry for my english.
