  1. I don't think your IP issue has anything to do with the SATA ports, as other users have had issues with the Intel I219 and the DS3622xs+ Do a search for Intel I219 see what comes up.
  2. You should check the settings in your BIOS and make sure you have HOTPLUG enabled for the 4TB drives and disable NVMe ports if possible. Remove the SSD and NVMe temporarily. I find it strange that you have 5 drives connected on only one shows up. Maybe the NVMe is sharing a lane with a SATA port
  3. Your MAC address is not showing up. Did you let ARPL generate a serial or did you input your own?
  4. Try your build with ARPL again. I have had one machine stop with no IP and no boot. I had to shut it down with the power button wait a few seconds and then power it back on again. Then it booted normally and I was able to install DSM.
  5. ¿Qué nombre de usuario y contraseña estás usando?
  8. @nemesis122, Can he/she go from 5.2 to 7.1 directly or would they have to go 5.2 to 6.2 then 7.1? If its possible.. great! that's what I would do. @renee, I have had the same issue as you are having with a bent USB drive on my builds. What I began doing is getting an internal USB dongle and securing it inside the case. https://www.startech.com/en-pe/cables/usbmbadapt
  9. Have you tried any other model? Are you using the SATA port and not just the M.2 socket? Since your CPU is a dual core Intel and uses DDR3 ram give the DS918+ a try.. or better yet the DS3622xs+ just to see if the hard drive will show up
  10. Sie haben jetzt mehrere Möglichkeiten für die Ryzen-CPU Nicht nur die DS1621+, sondern auch die DS2422+ und die DS923+
  11. Pocopico changed the command about a month ago to reflect the model instead of the platform ./rploader.sh build ds3622xs+-7.1.0-42661
  12. Choose the file that’s 283.79MB… anything smaller is just an update
  13. Which platform are you building?
  14. The latest versions are right there. There is a lot of information here to go through and it be confusing. To understand mor about platforms and loaders please read this: Broadwellnk is the architecture for the DS3622xs+ and the RS4021xs+ (which is more suited for large bare metal builds).
  15. Yes you can install on ESXI. Read through the tutorials here to understand which hardware is suited for each supported platforms: Then read the tutorial on the build processes here for ESXI: There are more than one option for building a NAS, so you have to determine which one is right for you. Read through as much of the forum as you can to help you decide which model is right for you.
  16. Pocopico has updated the boot loader to 0.9.3.0 found here: https://github.com/pocopico/tinycore-redpill
  17. I could be wrong, but I don't believe Synology is blocking you MAC address from the R610. You may not have the right drivers installed for your NIC which should be one of the Broadcom drivers found here: https://github.com/pocopico/rp-ext Do you still have the old 6iR storage controller or do you have a newer controller installed? This may cause a "No drives detected" issue once you build so you may look into purchasing a different controller like the H200 or H700. Before you do that, try using ARPL loader to build your NAS and see if you can find it on your network:
  18. Which loader and platform are you trying to build?
  19. In the first line of the instructions it states you will not loose data: Change the RAID Type of a Storage Pool Storage pools can be changed from one RAID type to another without losing existing data. For example, you can create a RAID 1 storage pool on your Synology NAS and later change it to RAID 5 if you install more drives. This article provides instructions on changing the RAID type of existing storage pools on your Synology NAS.
  20. When you set up you drive, which raid type did you choose? SHR or Raid 1? If Raid 1 you may need to change it to Raid 5 before the NAS will recognize the disks. Look here: https://kb.synology.com/en-au/DSM/help/DSM/StorageManager/storage_pool_change_raid_type?version=7
  21. So weird thing happened. I built the loader using ARPL and waited for the system to reboot... it didn't reboot after 10 minutes, so I forced shutdown and then rebooted. After the reboot I got an IP with Synology Assistant and was able install DSM 7. Give a hard reboot a try.
  22. Are you able to set your SATA Emulation to AHCI only? I have a Z400 at work that I can test with later today. I can let you know what I find if you haven't solved the problem by then.
  23. Don't look at the R710, R720 or R730 servers for a music studio unless you have a closet to put them in. Although the fans do quiet down after they boot, they can get noisy under stress. I have a R620 beside my desk for testing and when turned on the noise is very noticable. My HP Z8 is quiet and not noticeable at all. I would find a 9th gen Intel mobo/cpu combo and a case you can live with to build something custom and quiet.
  24. Without more information about your hardware, platform and loader you are using???… help us help you…
