  1. Thanks toastboy, I will try a freesh install during this weekend Inviato dal mio SM-G950F utilizzando Tapatalk
  2. Thanks for your help, I will try your suggestions and I will monitor the situation for a coupe of days. Thanks in advice Inviato dal mio iPad utilizzando Tapatalk
  3. No, nothing works, telnet, ssh, http, ping, nothing. I tried to unplug the Ethernet cable and plug it again but nothing. I have serial console access. I have fake sn/mac address in grub. Maybe the better way is to try a fresh install. I would do in virtual environment to guaranty the access and don't need to physically reboot. I'm not always there and I use XPE for security cam Inviato dal mio SM-G950F utilizzando Tapatalk

  5. I would really happy if someone could help me because I'm pulling my hear off!! I own a custom server with asrock q1900-itx and it worked smoother for years, since I upgraded from 5.x to 6.x I had random shutdown of the XPE services. Server stay on but there is no service available on synology and it does not even ping response. Actually I have 3 different HDs mount as single volumes, the ups and the psu are new. I would also try to have a fresh install again or pass to esxi solution so I can reboot when freeze. can someone suggest me a solution or a better way to find some evidence of the problem? DSM 6.1.x Loader

Dear all, I tried to read as much as I can from this thread! I'm going to upgrade my bare metal nas with Q1900-itx, I hope everything will be fine but I'm doing a an external backup for sure. I didn't understand if I need the .pat file as per the previous release or it will download automatically when I choose to install or upgrade? Thanks
  7. Hello, Does iSCSI works on 5.1-5022?? I'm not sure if I should upgrade from 5.0-4528 up.2 Any suggestions?

    Benvenuti

Ottimo, stavo pensando lo stesso anche io! Un'altra opzione, che ne pensate una distro come lubuntu che è molto leggera da far girare kodi (xbmc) e virtualizzarci poi all'interno XPE?? Potrebbe funzionare? Avete suggerimenti o consigli??
  9. Great AxlxA, if you will be able to find how to use the hdmi to a gui such xbmc please keep me update, I tried a lot without success. Maybe with hyper-v would be possible!
  10. Thanks @AxlxA! Any solution about how to use the hdmi?
  11. Hi everyone, I was thinking if it's possible to use the XPE on a hyper-v as a classic NAS and another virtual machine installed that can use the hdmi port to have such a htpc. Do you have any suggestion about how to use this mobo for both of this use? To @AxlxA did you edit the settings from windows server 2012 or directly on XPE? Just to know regarding your speed values, how many HD have you installed on your system? Are you using the passtrought?
  14. Oh ok! So yours is so fast because you have 5 disks!? I have to plan a new buy than!! Hihihi
  15. Ok I tested my nas again as per your suggestions, count=65536 should be fine for 4GB RAM! BusyBox v1.16.1 (2014-10-10 08:38:16 CST) built-in shell (ash) Enter 'help' for a list of built-in commands.
