thanks for you reply. This means I have to try it with a real HDD instead of the existing NVRAM (which should be similar to an SSD). Meanwhile I got OMV running and it has all the features I need but not as pretty as xpenology.

Hello. I am trying to install xpenology on the FX160 (2GB NVRAM) but getting error messages that something went wrong while uploading the .pat file. You mentioned that it works out of the box. Did you install it on the NVRAM or did you install it on a dedicated SATA HDD? also... did you try any newer version of xpenology?
