Hello Today I updated my xpenology box from 6.1.7 to 6.2.3 (3615xs) I used DSM_DS3615xs_25426.pat when doing manual install, but once the box completes boot up, DSM version shows DSM 6.2.3-25426 Update 3 Why it shows Update 3, did DSM auto upgrade itself during setup? Thanks. Below is my hardware and upgrade process, just FYI Biostar H61MU3 Celeron G530 8GB DDR3 8TB x 2, 500G x 1 First I made my usb boot disk (Jun's loader 1.03b with extra.lzma for Realtek NIC), disconnect 2 8TB drives (don't want to mess up my data in case upgrade goes wrong), replace existing USB boot disk with new one. Once boot up I can find my box via find.synology.com, migrate the 500GB drive first, then plug in the other 2 drives, update all packages, then done, very smooth.
