Hi, Can I install xpenology on a Dell EMC Avamar Gen4S M1200 rack server?
I've added 3 drives, and using a usb stick to boot xpenology.
Monitor shows that it will boot from USB, but find.synology.com doesnt find it
So finding IP from router, it loads up the Intel Integrated BMC Web Console.
Server comes with an Integrated Raid Controller RMS25CB080
RAID Expander Card RES2SV240
I tried moving ethernet cable to Port 2 instead of port 1, but then router doesnt even detect it.
Confused by BIOS as well.
Mass Storage Controller Configuration, what setting do I use?
Set AHCI to Disabled?
Which SATA controller to I use?
NO idea what I'm doing with this, but this was selling for pretty cheap so I bought it.
