Is it just me, or has the USB3.0 support stopped working on DSM5.1? I upgraded recently from 5.0 on Bare metal N54L Xpenology and have noticed, even though I have a USB3.0 card in the diskstation, the USB3.0 drive is now seen as a "normal" drive and not as a USB3.0 drive as before. I'm managed to upgrade on bare metal. Volumes are resyncing. Extremely slowly

For bare metal, Do i download the pat file. make a change to the menu_install.lst kernel /zImage ihd_num=0 netif_num=4 syno_hw_version=DS3612xs sn=B3J4N01003 vid=0x0EA0 pid=0x2168 loglevel=0 vga=0x305 upgrade=5.0-4528 and then just select the pat file when asked?

Thx. I'm not running Xpenology. Using DSM straight on HP N54L

It's stopped working again I have to run the command "ethtool - s eth0 wol g" after every boot. Otherwise when the server shutdowns, WOL will not work. Do I need to do anything special to retain settings? Any ideas?

I've upgrade to DSM 5.0 Update 5 using nano boot. For the life of me i can't get WOL to work. Has anyone got any ideas or got it to work? I deeply appreciate any guidance.

Fixed the problem. Reset all the permissions on all the photo folders and files. Thank you enzym for the guidance!
