  1. Thanks for your reply. I just went thru many topics in this forum. I learned that the DSM booting image must be installed in a USB drive and DSM system to be installed to another HDD. My HTPC motherboard doesn't get any RAID controller. But I got an external USB 3.0 4 bays SATA HDD enclosure. Can I install the DSM system into the HDDs in this HDD enclosures? Can the HDD enclosure be recognized during DSM installation process. By the way, do you think running DSM in VM of Windows 7 is a better idea? Thanks again.
  2. Dear all experienced user, I want to setup DSM on my existing HTPC with Windows 7. Is it possible to install DSM on another harddisk and allow dual booting between DSM and Win 7? Thanks in advanced.
