Hi, I am testing the latest loader: arpl-1.1-beta2a on ESXi 8.0. 2 x SSD set up. 1 SSD is for loader, 2 SSD 240GB for data. Tested on 1 and 2 SATA controllers. Network card with default addons selected (All default) so vmxnet3 included. When trying to install DSM (latest build 42692) on ds3622xs+ I get : failed to format drive at 8%. Doing exactly the same steps on DS920+ - no issues, everything works. I saw some similar questions here, but not really the solution.

Ok, I figured out what I am missing... After creating a build a I had to copy MAC address into VMXNET3 card in ESXi. Your tutorial is missing that step.

Hi, I am trying to get it running on ESXI 7.0 Update 1. Building at the end by using command: "./rploader.sh build apollolake-7.1.0-42661 manual" All steps done as per instruction and VM settings are all the same except NIC is VMXNET3. However by checking optional drivers I do have it installed. After booting up with SATA option, it does not get IP address. I see on the router that device 00:11:32:2b:fa:64 shows up on the network, but it does not ask DHCP for IP.
