I am looking to have my synology replicate to an XPEnology over the wan (to a friends house). We both have decent internet so I don’t think speed will be an issue. I am looking to see what people recommend the most for this in terms of which app to use and what ports need to be opened? also, if anyone has done this with a VPN connection, would you mind share info what apps and basic setup? Not 100% certain I want to open ports like this to XPE box. Sorry if there is a duplicate post I missed I have been looking all over for answers about this for the last couple days.
