    DSM 6.2 Loader

I'm assuming similar steps need followed as with the 6.1 loader ( vid / pid edit??)?? thanks
  2. i use a x7dbe based server bought on ebay just like you're looking at. its been rock solid and makes a fantastic esxi host. since moving to a new house its been powered up and running 160 days until i moved it yesterday. highly recommended!
  3. I'm trying to replace an older areca driver in either nanoboot or gnoboot with a newer driver in an attempt to use the areca http proxy (so i can view smart status of hard drives). I have a module built but it can't be used because an older module already lives inside of nanoboot/gnoboot and it can't be replaced without replacing it inside the zImage how can I mount the zImage of nanoboot or gnoboot to replace the module? thanks
  4. didnt work in nanoboot or gnoboot. neither have the f/w built in
  5. for future reference for someone with a similar problem... find the firmware out on the net somewhere (bnx2-mips-06-6.2.1.fw or whatever the file name is - use your own dmesg to figure out what file exactly) and make sure you get the 64 or 32 bit version for your system and put the file in /usr/syno/hotplug/firmware/bnx2/ then reboot bam! (and i'm on DSM 5 with a bnx2 5709 so these firmware file sare *not* included from my experience)
