Hi all, I just did this and manage to have my ssd availble on DSM. But since the system is very slow. If I want to get back to the origin, should I just delete the file libsynonvme.so.1 or does this file was already present and the operation was a replacement of an original file? Thanks for your help.
  4. Du coup tu l'a acheté cette carte? Si oui, elle fonctionne sans pb? Merci de ton retour.
  5. All good !! Thanks a lot for your help IG-88!
  6. Done everything you said quite successfully so far. Thanks a lot for your help. The last thing wich still doesn't work is the likeadoc patch. Connected in ssh in admin when i send the command : wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/likeadoc/synocodectool-patch/master/patch.sh Connection is OK but at the end it says "patch.sh : access denied"
  7. Thanks IG-88 for such fadt & complete answer. I have actually the DSM version DSM 6.2.3-25423u2 Damned !! my two 4Go HDD are SMR disk...I am not sure to get all the understanding of the articles, but it seems that the issues was when the HDD was added to a raid. If you create a raid (not adding the HDD to an existing raid) should I expect issues? After your answer above, I was thinking about a radical solution : since I manage to backup all my data on USB disk, I should remove all te 6 HDD of the NAS, plug each one in the SATA/USB dock and
  8. Hi all Before any questions, my config : - DSM version : DSM 6.2.3-25423 - Loader version and model: JUN'S LOADER v1.04b - DS918+ - Using custom extra.lzma: No - Installation type: BAREMETAL - Gigabyte B365M HD3 | i3 9100 | Realtek® GbE LAN | 16 Go Ram | HDD 2x4Go + 2x3Go +2x1Go Since I just started with my first XPE, I was not so sure to manage to get it done. I installed DSM on 2 brand new HDD 4 Go each without any problems. After several days without trouble it seems a good idea to add the two HDD of 3 Go each I had in my old 218j and the two HDD of 1 g
  9. Hi all, I am Goby, living in Paris, France. I have two real Syno with 2 bays, a little bit slow according to me. When I found this forum, I just figure out that it could be possible to have a fast Syno NAS for half price and bougth the same gear as IG-88 :). I am not familiar with the linux environment, but I managed to install baremetal 918+ 6.2.3 25426 Update 2. I am still struggling with some details, but I am pretty sure I will get the help that I need here.
