I am trying to get xpenology working on ubuntu 20.04 with kvm. I'm following the instructions here: https://www.wundertech.net/how-to-install-xpenology-on-a-linux-kvm-qemu-virtual-machine/ The new VM boots and I can see the Jun’s Loader (v1.04b DS918+) screen after the vm starts. I have my local dhcp server looking for 00:11:32:12:34:56 and giving it a specific IP, but the IP never pings. I've tried on several machines in my local network with different network settings for the VM, and no dice. Simply no way to debug the issue and find out what the VM is doing, since there is no debugging output on the console.

I have tried to get this to work as well. I get the initial boot message saying the screen won't update and to check http://find.synology.com/, and then nothing

I've tried booting 1.04b in a kvm vm and it shows the boot menu, then goes blank and nothing happens, but the host cpu is busy. synology.xml

Better yet, do you have a github repo that has the relevant Vagrantfile and settings?

I have tried this, but it doesn't work for me. The boot loader comes up and says "Intro: This mod is brought to you by Jun..... Screen will stop updating shortly, please open http://find.synology.com to continue." The vm cpu load goes up and stays up (looking at virt-manager), I go to http://find.synology.com and it never finds it.
