Yea i got confused by your link there since in another post that Jun himself linked in the 1.04b loader thread it said that DS918+ should work on cpus newer then haswell thats what confused me And when i checked Bay Trail was newer then Haswell if i am not mistaken

The faulty ram stick kept me from booting. So no DS918 for me at all. I want to run jellyfin on docker and hardware transcoding would be nice. I successfully booted DS3615 but haven't tried DS918 is it worth trying or it definitely won't work?

Synology assistant cant find my device I am a total noob and first time installing. I would call myself tech savy but pc networks are not my stronger suit so i had to ask here. The config is: Asus J1800-c motherboard and 6GB of RAM and one SATA HDD 500GB I tried with 1.04b for DS918+ and for 3615xs with extra.izma mod from IG-88 And even tried 1.02b for both again with extra.izma. Both UEFI and Legacy boot But Synology asistant cant find my device. I enabled assistant thru firewall. NAS device is conected via ethernet to my router but my main pc is conected via wifi card to the internet. I get the booting screen and everything seems alright but i just cant install DSM.
