  1. I'm thinking of moving to ARC loader of my old j3455 (before it was j1900) DSM 7.2-64570 installation - which was before dsm 6.0 surely - maybe even dsm 5 - I'm wondering how to check this btw - the initial dsm version. In any case I found info in ARC wiki - https://github.com/AuxXxilium/AuxXxilium/wiki#important - that dsm v6 have different partitions layout, maybe this is related to your issue @Polanskiman /dev/md0 of mine: df -h /dev/md0 Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on /dev/md0 2.3G 1.4G 822M 63% /
  2. I love this fix! It did the trick. Thank you. MB: ASRock J3455-ITX bios 1.80 amisetupwriter 0x4E2 0x3
  3. That's right!, RAID adapter pass-through using VMDirectPath is the most common use case with XPEnology.
  4. @dise: true that. Weird approach by asrock @AskgopJeJ: bare metal xpenology no. But for instance esxi installation yes.
  5. I would rather wait for this little guy, as it is supporting VT-d http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/J3455-ITX/index.pl.asp
  6. Indeed, the same case here. Booting second VM in bridge mode making Vbox unresponsive. Cannot kill the process, cannot unload kernel module. Only hard restart is helping.
  7. Bummer it is... However the mini pcie port can still be filled with lan card (with extender) vide http://www.speeddragon.com/index.php?controller=Default&action=ProductInfo&Id=499 And regular pcie port could be used for sata card...
  8. Yeah it looks great. Thx. It is not available there though. Do you have vendor/model name to look it up elsewhere? Edit: I've found it http://m.ebay.com/itm/111680827228?nav=SEARCH Btw: This looks cool... http://www.speeddragon.com/index.php?controller=Default&action=ProductInfo&Id=499
  9. Hi, Do you happen to know if I can squeeze Syba's mini PCIe full size into this board? - http://www.sybausa.com/productInfo.php?iid=1354 Unfortunately I can't use regular PCIe port - it is used by second NIC. Alternatively I've found this interesting adapter that could solve the problem - http://www.hwtools.net/ExtenderBoard/P22S-P22F.html
  10. This method is great . Confirmed - working. Thx
