Hi All, I set up up a Static LAG with TL-SG108E. NIC teaming has been enabled on the conputer and when downloading / upload something, I can see that packets are distributed between 2 NIC. The same set up had been applied for the NAS, I choose "Balance XOR" since the switch is not supporting dynamic LAG. Did you set the correct baud rate according to your PC specs? I am not sure but I think that you need a TTL to RS232 converter. This is what I am using at the momment - In the attachment is TTL to RS232 serial converter.

So you want to clean your WD element disk? ALL THE DATA WILL BE LOST IF YOU WANT TO PROCEED Use Windows+R to open Run, type diskmgmt.msc in the empty box and tap OK. Now identify your WD disk, right click and select format. If you not sure, you can share the screenshot of Disk Management here.

I am really get what you mean. Do you mean that you are not receiving the expected IP per NIC MAC? The most simple way is let the NIC working in DHCP mode, and you can assign the expected IP in your router.

You can now access DSM so I don't think there is a need to update. The NAS come with a boot usb or nothing at all? The image I mentioned is just a backup of the internal m-sata where the loader was pre-installed. I have the file of 1 network port NAS. To restore it, you can boot the NAS with winPE and use Acronis True Image to restore.

Have you try with admin/123456? By the way, is it the NAS that you bought from Chinese market that has DSM pre-installed with the m-sata? If yes I can give you the image backup file so that you can restore to the m-sata drive.

The data with HDD you run it as basic disk? I would suggest you to back up / try to recover the data using ubuntu live usb before action to avoid any risk.

Can you try to set up DSM with the loader that you want and and with a spare HDD (the one has no data). When DSM up and running you can try to connect the HDD with data back.

If you have the budget for a DS918+ then I would suggest you buy it for the stability and NVME cache support Or, if you would like to have the control on your hardware and future upgrade, you can try Asus H310M-C and i5-8400. The below report show that it's working fine.

It's to bad to hear that. While waiting for other guys to help, I would suggest to turn off the NAS if you still leave it on ... Just to remind that, NAS is not a backup. For me, most of my photos and videos are sync'ed to Google Photos as they are free and unlimited. I also have them backed up on my PC and the other version on the NAS.

I see, I only have USB to Serial UART 5V TTL at home. So I won't be abe to check that.
