Hi there, i did a clean install on n54l. I can't seem to find the syslinux.cfg file in USB key. can you elaborate please? Open folder boot/grub. You can change serial/mac in the ‘menu_nano.lst’ and ‘menu_install.lst’ files. thanks to you both. very easily done. just wondering is there a specific format for the serial no? or can it be any string of letters numbers? e.g. just the actual HP serial no. of my n54l?
