  1. Ok, so I have disabled HT then. Same performance (8T max for XPE) and noticed that my UPS is using 15-20w less, with HT disabled. Maybe DSM will get us 16T someday..
  2. I had windows 10 before, on this very same computer, HT was indeed enabled and detected with 8c/16t

  4. Got it working!!! (took me some looong hours...) Had to include these 4 files (from 'extra918plus_v0.8_std.zip') in partition 2 (usb boot) *Also disabled 2nd integrated nic (a realtek) I hope I can get faster speeds, when I have more than 3 drives in both NAS'es At the end, I confirmed, there was NO need to change mac/pid on the grub.cfg in partition 1
  5. Can someone please help me to make a 10Gbit Synology adaptor, work with my XPEnology? It's a custom Asus mobo, which has only 2x1Gbit cards ASUS SABERTOOTH_X99 So I bought this card: E10G18-T1 but it's not detected (DSM 6.2.2-24922 Update 5) I tried disabling the realtek (2nd) nic on the bios (keeping only 1, intel) but still nothing The 10Gb card lights are blinking though.. I've seen something about a .pat file for drivers? How do I install it? I think I have the loader 1.03 How do I create a new usb with 1.04? Will that include the driver? I really forgot about this XPE thing since it was intalled, about 1y ago.. Any help would be appreciated.
