  1. @kroese Hi, at post #43 quote: The last two you can find by creating an instance of VirtualDSM in VMM temporarily. I don't understand that sentence. Can You, please, elaborate?
  2. @kroese Just to say Hi and Thank You.
  3. I've had similar situation and the only solution is "force reinstall DSM" from bootloader
  4. @wjz304 Whatever You decide, to go on or quit this project, we should respect. Thank You for your contribution and good luck in your life
  5. I can notice reading the forum that people start using quickconnect. Is t appropriate? I think that we can use commercial OS freely is enough. I'm not sure that using additional services is fair. At least we are striking attention to this community and xpenology users and don't be surprised if one day no bootlader wil work.
  6. @MrGarak You don't need driver for eight gen of intel. I have 8th gen and DS920+ and everything is working out of the box.
  7. O.K. Now I understand. I've installed 7.2 SA6400 with : https://github.com/wjz304/arpl-i18n it's based on arpl, so, I'll post there. Thanx.
  8. @Orphée By my understanding i915 till 11h gen is suported in kernel. Or I am wrong?
  9. I've lost Plex hw transcoding after upgrading to 7.2 official release on 10th gen i3. It was working on 7.1.
  10. Yes. Works with: https://github.com/wjz304/arpl-i18n
  11. Actually, "Lauderbuild rules' is term I never heard about it. When you say rebuild the loader You mean, to boot in existing loader , set new parameters, and build it and reboot. Is it?
  12. @Peter Suh Sorry, Peter, I don't konw how this works. I was at you github account and m-shel iis modified 5 days ago. So, am I using the same version v0.9.4.3-2 or else? Or m-shell is downloading new loader or parts from pocopico's github.
  13. @Peter Suh Hi. Thank You for making this nice, elegant shell for redpil. I've had few problems. The wallpaper of linux on white areas makes hard for reading white font of reports. At least on 14 inch, colour VGA monitor. I have only only one onboard lan realtek 8125, which is recognized by linux, but not by DSM. I suppouse that m-shell is automatically injecting the recognized lan module, because, I haven't noticed a "adding module" option. Cheers.
  14. @maqros And it's working for SA6400 7.2 RC? I've tried it is working. Thanx maqros. Special thanx for Peter.
  15. @vlaser For 7.2 try this: https://github.com/wjz304/arpl-i18n
  16. @007revad Thank You. I've just made storage pool with your script. It works like advertised. I'm on beta 7.2. DS920+, will it survived updating to 7.2 RC?
  17. Mine is shutting down properly. Asrock J5040. Some motherboards refuse to shutdown. There were a shutdown package long time ago on this forum. I don't beleive that will worknow. But search and try.
  18. @wjz304 I saw that You have recent updates on github, are You preparing for RC 7.2?
  19. @wjz304 Just to report that everything is working with your version of arpl on Asrock J5040. Thank You.
  20. @dj_nsk I've installed on Gigabyte MB, with intel i3 8th gen, 24 gb RAM , with two intel lan cards, first 1 GB second 2.5 GB. I didn't change anything cause I don't know where to find that file user-config.yml and how to edit. The NAS is working 3 days and it is fast, responsive and plex hw transcoding and it is very good experience. My question is, (and I know it is beta) is it safe to use this version on a production NAS, regarding updates and all.
  21. @K4L0 How to find replacement numbers for DS920+ DSM 7.2-64216
  22. O.K. Thank You. Working, but I'll wait for proper release.
