  1. Hi there! I'm trying to move my build from ESXI to baremetal and I'm having trouble to make it work. I know that my motherboard uses a I219V NIC so I added "extra.lzma/extra2.lzma for loader 1.04b ds918+ DSM 6.2.3 v0.13.3" but.. I'm not been lucky. I can't see the server on syno assistant
  2. Thank you so much! I managed to fix it reinstalling esxi. Now I will save my date and I think that I will move my system to a ESXI non-dependant system
  3. Hey! I have custom built NAS using an Asrock B365M Pro4 motherboard and an i3 9100, using ESXI. Two weeks ago electricity went down in my building and since then...it has been down ( I have been working on the other side of the country so I couldn't have a look until today). When I power it up... ESXI gets stuck on "dma_mapper_iommu_loaded successfully" and it doesn't do anything else, does anyone know how to fix this? Does anyone know if I reinstall ESXI would I be able to get my data back?
  4. so this will be my choice except for the PSU , I hope that I won't have many compatibility issues 😅 https://es.pcpartpicker.com/list/xVnxcq Do you know anything about my "HTPC+NAS" doubt?
  5. Thank you so much for your help, what do you think about Gigabyte B365M-D3H? I think that it will be , more or less, the same but adding 9th gen compatibility and more ram/sata/pci slots
  6. Hey there! I had been using xpenology for a few years as a VM on my computer but... now it's time to build a standalone NAS. This machine will be used as media server(4k transcoding is not necessary now but it would be desirable if it was an option for the future), data back up- cloud, TS server and sometimes, running a VM. I would like to know if it is possible to use this machine as NAS and HTPC at same time, using "virtual machine manager" or esxi to run xpenology + openelec (for example). This is not really necessary but it would be a huge plus. And now...hardware time. I already own parts as 3x4tb WD red (raid5), 1 samsung ssd (I don't know if it is worth to use it as cache), nvidia gtx 750ti and a Corsair VS650 psu. I would like to get new parts like intel 8th/9th gen processor (i3 8100, i3 9100f, i5 8400...) but I haven't found much info about this. I would like a board with at least 6 sata ports and WOLcompatibility. I'm open to any hardware suggestions Sorry if I have done some mistakes as English is not my native language 🙄 and thanks for your time trying to help me 😅
