Hi, Since TCRP 0.9.2.7 there is a mac address issue. Redpill is not able to spoof the mac addresse. This is still present, even with the latest version of m-Shell. Do you have any idea of what causes this is ? -

Hello, I can't update from 7.1.1-42962-6 to 7.2-64570-1, DSM won't restart. I did the update from the DSM GUI, TCRP detects it but shows "Hunk1 FAILED 1/1". I tried redoing a new install in 42962-6 but same error when updating to 64570-1. Why do I have this error? Thanks -
- Outcome of the update: SUCCESSFUL - DSM version prior update: DSM 7.1.1-42962 Update 5 - Loader version and model: TinyCore RedPill v0.9.4.3 with Friend (mshell) - DS3622xs+ - Using custom extra.lzma: NO - Installation type: BAREMETAL - Asrock H67M-ITX - Additional comments: Manual update from the DSM GUI. New DSM alert: "Unverified drive" and "Unsupported memory" warning (never shown before this 7.2 version) (Solved with "Synology HDD db" script from 007revad's github)

Hi ! I tested TCRP Friend to switch from DSM 7.1-42661 Update 4 to DSM 7.1.1-42962 and it works very well, it's impressive, great job! However, I have a problem with the mac address. In the config.json I specified a mac address. When TCRP Friend boots it displays "Setting MAC from (the real mac) to (the mac I entered)". The IP Address line is correct according to my DHCP. But once the NAS is started, it no longer uses these informations. DSM starts using the real mac address and therefore my DHCP no longer gives it the correct address. In DSM control panel, the real mac address is shown. (sorry for my google translate english...) -
RedPill TinyCore Loader Installation Guide for DSM 7.1 BareMetal

Ok, thanks! With Xpenology you had to delete the .xpenoboot folder located in the root folder apparently. Is there a similar solution with Redpill? -

Hi, I have a strange issue with the "Update & restore" function. It says "connection failed" and the "Release notes" link goes to example.com: All others functions works well (let's encrypt renew, hdd database update...) I didn't have this problem in 6.2 (migrated configuration from 6.2, DS3617) Regards. -

Hi, When I perfom "./rploader.sh fullupgrade now" command it only shows option of command as if i am only running "./rploader.sh" command. I use the tinycore-redpill.v0.4.6.img from https://github.com/pocopico/tinycore-redpill (updated 2 months ago). Is there a new version of the .img? Regards. -
Hi, I have a Marvell 88SE9215 PCIE card with 6 SATA ports (pce6sat-m01) but in DSM I have only 4 ports available. The satamap command in RePill find 4 ports. Nothing change with SataPortMap= "6" In RedPill, during the build I have : Found SATA Controller : pciid 1b4bd00009215 Required Extension : No matching extension What can I can do to have all the 6 ports available? Regards.

Hello, (Sorry for my english, I used google translate) I have a problem with losing connection when the network is very busy. For example, when I copy a large file from the NAS to my pc, it uses the network intensively and after about 15 seconds of transfer at 110MB/s the network connection is cut and the nas is no longer accessible. I have to unplug the network cable from the motherboard and then plug it back in to have access to the NAS again (I don't even need to turn it off). I tried to turn my router off and on again, it didn't change anything, so the problem is with the NAS. I am using an Asrock H67m-itx (Realtek RTL8111E), dsm 6.2.3 and "extra.lzma for loader 1.03b ds3617 DSM 6.2.3 v0.11.2_test". I had the same problem in 6.2.2 Have you ever encountered this problem?

Biocef replied to Biocef's topic in Compatibilité Hardware & Installation
Biocef replied to Biocef's topic in Compatibilité Hardware & Installation
