Like the title , how can I skip uploading the same file? i was updating some apps ( the Synology drive client in windows , also the android app also updated the dsm ,) and started from zero all the settings. On the old version when I was trying to upload a file (e.g. a pic from phone to drive )and the same pic was already on drive , the upload was skipped Now i get two files , they are the same , but the last one is renamed (added a (1) ) DSm 7.1 DS3615xs Syno Drive android ver 3.0.0 PC synology drive client 3.1.0

1 question , if i put a new hdd a new usb flash drive and fail to put DSM 7 , can I put back the old USB and old HDD (from DSM 6)?everything will be ok?

So the problem is the android app. For drive 3.0.0 i need to upgrade the DSM.

Hello again my firends. The drive android app just made an update, now i can t upload anything to drive via android drive app version 3.0.0. I can acces de files but can t upload anything Does anyone have this issue? 10x

Sir, seems to be my mistake, I found that my usb was not proper inserted, When i plug it out to reinstall I see that. Now the System is working fine.

Hello guys, I am asking for your help again Everytjing was just fine till last nigjt. I was installed ds finder on anther phone and click on the update aplication Now my xpenology is dead. How to recover my data? Is ok to build another usb stick (with the hdd ejected) and after the boot to plug in the hdd?

Finally I configured the NAS like i was planned to do The "thing" is working fine , and the DS Storage app is marvelous The only thing I can"t do is WOL , I was reading some threads in here but I am afraid that I will brick my NAS

to be honest sir , I was looking for synology drive i see this version have synology drive so I don"t wanna try 6.2, now the NAS check the drive , it ill be a long process but I will have more questions for you guys i wanna acces the NAs over the web , put a plex server and so on but step by step

In bios on boot menu I have boot: 1:{removable device} 2:{uefi : removable device} 3:dvdrom and so on I booted from both option , is the same situation now I will try testing with DSM 6.1 / 3615.

On windows both NIC work fine. Until now I used uefi And yes, i rezerved an ip for mac I will try with your indication

unfortunally ,no in router or in the network scanner , i don:t see DiskStation i only see my devices who are connected: 2 phones , one tv , my pc I even asign an static Ip in dhcp

i put the intel card , now when I search to find the NAS , the green led is blinking but stil doesen"t find the NAS

Now I am at work, i find an intel network card but is an mini pciex, and i don t know if i have this kind of port on motherboard ( i think it is a regula pcie port) I will keep digging
