I am trying to make the following auto shutdown script run automatically after system startup.

I placed the caller script at
/usr/syno/etc/rc.d named S99pingshutdown.sh
as suggested by the author. But the modified script is not executed (test by output in text file unsuccessful).
Is the mentioned path wrong?
Is there any easier way to configure auto shutdown based on pings to network devices? - E. g. a package for DSM?
