I succesfully upgraded from DS3615xs to DS3622xs. All seems to work ok, but the mac address from the config is not set on my network card. The machine has 2 NICs, but the internal NIC is switched off. Can that be the problem?

What is the best way to change from DS3615xs to DS3622xs? I can try it with some other disks.

The first option is also not booting, but I think that has something to do with the postupdate that seems to be not working correctly on the new TC. My DSM is on version DSM 7.1-42661 Update 4 and when doing a postupdate for bromolow 7.1.0-42661 it states that 7.1.0-42661-0 is the version that it will be installed. I'm using a HP Proliant Microserver N54L with an AMD Turion(tm) II Neo N54L Dual-Core Processor and 8GB of RAM

Yes, this is a production system. So I won't try the DS3622xs.

Unfortunately, it is still not working with the extra cmdline option. The output of the available clocksources is: tsc hpet acpi_pm

I tested this and it does not work. I do see the "initcall_blacklist=clocksource_done_booting" in the cmdline shown before loading kexec

I'm happy to provide you or pocopico with info you need, but I cannot access the NAS after it tries to boot DSM in any way. Is there any way I can get the logs? I also noticed that the CAPSlock on my attached keyboard does not work anymore after booting to DSM. So it realy 'hangs' the NAS. As an addition: I also have this same problem on the Automated redpill loader

DSM 7.1.0-42661 is already installed and runs fine on an USB stick with the 'old' TC. The page 192.168.1.100:7681 times out.

Uhmm.. Read my complete post. As I stated; I also don't hear any HD noises as I normally do when booting. It is not booting DSM. I cannot access it after waiting 10 minutes.

Hi pocopico, Thanks for yor great loader. I've been running the original TC for quite some time now without problems. I was trying the new loader with friend and it will not boot DSM. After "Loading kexec, nothing will be dispayed here anymore ..." nothing happens. I also don't hear any HD noises as I normally do when booting. The machine that I have is a HP Proliant Microserver N54L.

I added it later to my config and rebuild the image. It worked right away after booting. No reinstall needed.
