Have you found a solution yet? I am still searching... You have realy checked, that the BIOS has'nt turned the SATA IDE Combined Mode for the 5th drive to enabled? It have to be disabled.

Gnoboot läuft mit der 4482 derzeit nicht, da Synology irgendeinen Sicherungsmechanismus eingebaut hat, der alle Platten dismountet. Das ist bisher noch nicht gecracked worden, deshalb gibt es kein neueres gnoboot. Nanoboot ist ein modifiziertes gnoboot, wo beim Bootvorgang jedesmal die "bösen" Dateien der 4482 gegen die alten lauffähigen der 4458 ausgetauscht werden, deshalb ist es auch Wurscht, ob man Nanoboot mit original PAT installiert oder dem gepatchten, was die Dateien schon vorab in der 4458 Version enthält.

mit Nanoboot 5.0.2.2 soll es gehen.

mit Nanoboot 5.0.2.1 soll auch die unmodifizierte 4482 gehen. Soweit ich verstanden habe, muß man beim boot vom Stick upgrade auf 4482 auswählen und kann so sein gnoboot 4458 "hochrüsten"

Wenn das Update2 vom 4458 meinst, Du must das update2 *erst* runterladen, *nicht* den upgrade button betätigen, sondern als root über ssh einloggen: sed 's/flashupdateDeb/flashupdateDeb1/' /autoupd@te.info > /autoupd@te.info1 mv /autoupd@te.info1 /autoupd@te.info und danach das update starten. Wenn Du mit update das 4482 meinst, das geht derzeit nicht.

For the N54L the problem was, that the BIOS has turned the SATA IDE Combined Mode for the 5th drive to enabled. In this case, you see the 5th in the bootscreen upper the SATA drives as an IDE drive. It has to be disabled, than you see the drive as an additional SATA drive. Do you have similar settings in your FM2A88X?

it looks like an issue with the timing wake up plan. the timings for wakeup where written into the BIOS and destroy the setting. To see your 5th or 6th drive again you have to change SATA IDE Combined Mode to [Disabled]
